Joel 3

Joel 3:17
Then you will know that I am the LORD your God,
Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain.
So Jerusalem will be holy,
And strangers will pass through it no more.
The end times are hopeful, yet confusing.  The good news is that God wins, as the old saying goes.  He will directly rule from Jerusalem, and all people will be in submission to Him.

However, there's a lot of uncertainty about what happens to the rest of the world.  It says here strangers won't pass through Jerusalem anymore.  Is that because there are no strangers left, and everyone is known to them?  Or is it because there's no one left to be a stranger, because they're all destroyed, or barred from entry?
