"In that day I will also make a covenant for themObviously, this day has not yet come. There is still strife and conflict in the Jews' land, with no sign of it abating soon. So this is part of the prophecy that is yet unfulfilled.
With the beasts of the field,
The birds of the sky
And the creeping things of the ground.
And I will abolish the bow, the sword and war from the land,
And will make them lie down in safety.
However, what a day it will be when this comes true. For men to be at total peace with each other, instead of trying to turn each other into pieces, would be amazing in that part of the world. To additionally be at peace with animals is something only God Himself will ever be able to do.
