His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."Is it just me, or was Mary being very presumptive in all this? Jesus basically just told her off, saying it wasn't His time yet. Yet she goes ahead and gives orders to the servants, almost extorting Him.
Was there more to the conversation that wasn't included in the text? Something that showed Jesus acquiescing to Mary's request? Or did she simply know Him too well, and knew that He would act to fill the need once made aware of it?
