if it does evil in My sight by not obeying My voice, then I will think better of the good with which I had promised to bless it.I wonder, does this apply to Christians too? Are we at the same risk of having our special status, our grafting into the Jews, broken due to sin? Or is this a less severe revocation, where only our blessings here can be removed, but our eternal security stands.
I have to believe it's the latter, from everything I've ever been taught. However, we can still mess up to the point where our lives can become very unpleasant. I sometimes feel that I'm sliding down that path, and would like to find a way to arrest the descent.
